A jiu-jitsu academy built for families. Kids, parents, and first-timers welcome.
Our story
Two coaches. One mat. Room for everyone.
We started teaching in borrowed rooms and community halls, and one thing kept happening: parents who came to watch ended up on the mat next to their kids. Sharktank is the home we always wanted for that.
Jiu-jitsu, done well, is quiet. It is patience, leverage, and knowing you can stay calm when things get close. That is what we teach, and it works the same for a six-year-old and a sixty-year-old.
“You do not have to be strong to begin. You begin, and strength follows.”
Programs
Kids. Families. Adults.
Three programs, one culture. Every class is small enough that your coach knows your name and your goals by the second week.
01
Kids
Games first, techniques second, ego never. Kids learn to fall safely, hold their balance, and solve problems with their bodies while the room stays calm and kind.
Belts are earned slowly on purpose. We would rather your child be confident and gentle than fast and rough.
